1. To apply himself whole-heartedly to use the full intellectual powers of his mind for the glory of God;
2. To grow in His spirit by seeking through prayer, reading, and meditating on the word of God, and personal relationship with God.
3. To develop his body with sound health habits, eating nourishing food and participating in physical activities.
4. To cultivate good relationships with others, learning to communicate in truth and in love, seeking to love others as himself, renouncing lying, cheating, stealing, cursing, and tale bearing.
5. To abstain from all immoral and illegal acts and habits, on and off campus, including drinking alcohol, smoking tobacco and/or marijuana, taking drugs or committing illicit sexual acts, including homosexual behavior.
6. To follow the rules and regulations of the school;
7. To be open to God's call on his life, asking that he remain in the will of God.
8. To attend class, chapel services, and the church of his choice on the Lord's Day.
