Code of Honor

     Church on the Rock Christian Academy is a Christian ministry committed to serving Jesus Christ by education young people for a lifestyle of honoring Him in work, prayer, reading the Bible and recreation. Therefore, the staff of Church on the Rock Christian Academy asks that each student make a commitment to be a person of integrity, respecting the values of the school and the authority of the administration. We believe corporal punishment is a Bible-based principle to be administered at the discretion of the parent in the privacy of his own home; therefore, this discipline is not a procedure at COTRCA.

     It is our desire that each student seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit on a daily basis:

1. To apply himself whole-heartedly to use the full intellectual powers of his mind for the glory of God;

2. To grow in His spirit by seeking through prayer, reading, and meditating on the word of God, and personal relationship with God.

3. To develop his body with sound health habits, eating nourishing food and participating in physical activities.

4. To cultivate good relationships with others, learning to communicate in truth and in love, seeking to love others as himself, renouncing lying, cheating, stealing, cursing, and tale bearing.

5. To abstain from all immoral and illegal acts and habits, on and off campus, including drinking alcohol, smoking tobacco and/or marijuana, taking drugs or committing illicit sexual acts, including homosexual behavior.

6. To follow the rules and regulations of the school;

7. To be open to God's call on his life, asking that he remain in the will of God.

8. To attend class, chapel services, and the church of his choice on the Lord's Day.

     Church on the Rock Christian Academy is a private school under the administration of Marylands Church on the Rock, Inc., with Dr. Quint Morales as Administrator and Mrs. Sandra E. bolinas Principal. ATTENDANCE AT COTRCA IS CONSIDERED AS A PRIVILEDGE, NOT A RIGHT. The school reserves the right after notification, to suspend or expel any student for non-payment of tuition, for infraction of the rules, or for the purpose of maintaining the spiritual and moral environment of the school. All new students are admitted on a 90-day probationary period.
